Winning on Bodog

Is anybody winning playing the bodog 5+.50's? I decided to give them a try and lost about $50. I can't get these guys to fold on the bubble. Over 56 SnGs I'm ITM only 32%. Normally on Empire I'm 50%.

I mostly play at Empire. I think the extra chips screw me up. At the 100/200 level we might still have 7 players. (and I'm still around 1000 chips).

I play my normal TAggy game, and I'm pretty routinely the shorest stack on the bubble, because I'm not gambol-ing.

Most of the players at Bodog are horrid, and I'm thinking there must be a way to take advantage of that. What do you guys do to capture that value? Is it possible?

the people I talk to that play on bodog always remark on how tight the bubbles are there.

just keep playing, your sample size is small. post some hands if you have more trouble.

Bodog has ridiculously crappy players.
And the SNGs are really really easy.

Either way I cant believe you have a 50% ITM rate at EP.
What is your sample size?

At every site on the $5.50's the players are horrid.

My sample size is very small.
As anthonkent on poker prophecy 54/114 = 47.37 %
I don't have my old spreadsheet.
Currently IslandAK 12/27 = 44%
So 66/141 = 46% not 50%. And it's too small a sample.

I'm trying to play 2 sets (4 tables) 4 times a week. So it will be a couple of months at that rate before I get to 500.

I went over to bodog because the SnGs sounded easy. There are idiots calling me down with 2nd pair.... or less. But when the blinds get big, it's pretty tough with 7 guys sitting there with M's < 5. I try to steal with A-high and get called by a better A, or a pair, or whatever. There are too many players to make any 4-handed/3-handed type moves. But with the blinds so big I feel I need to keep my stack even.

Since I've gone back to Empire you can see I'm ITM WAY more. It's not my play that's different it's the site.

If anyone is having a lot of success at bodog I would like to know what I need to change about my game when I play there.
- One of the things I was thinking about was pushing everytime I make a hand and there's no draw on the board. Thoughts?

all i have ever heard about Bodog is how loose and terrible the play is. Has anyone played higher buy-in sit and go's and ring games and care to share their opinion?

Poker prophecy doesnt capture enough of ur total SNGs played.
According to Poker Prophecy, I am god.

If you KNOW that ur sample size is too smal, then you have nothing to worry about. Dont focus on that then.
Focus on how to beat players who are different than the ones you are used to playing. Dont even have ur ROI and ITM in the back of your head. They are no indicator of your skill with a such a small sample size.

Whats wrong with people calling you down with 2 pair when you have something better? Exploit it.
If you know people are calling stations dont bluff them
You cant bluff calling stations
You can get their money when you have a real hand.

Post some HHs to get help on bubble pushes.

Here is all you need to do to DESTROY the bodog 5.5 and 11s and I am not kidding. I squeezed 1k out of that site effortlessly through bonuses and their sngs.

Fold everything but AA and KK. With AA or KK raise rediculously to like 300 chips. one of the limpers will always call. On any flop, bet 220. Push every turn. Even if the top pair pairs or the turn is a 4 flush.

Then when the blinds get to 50/100 or 100/200, just push more than everyone else.

Bodog players are waaaaaay too loose early and waaaaaaay too tight on the bubble.

Can only run 3 tables. And the pond is small so if you play beyond the 11s, you'll have to wait for your table to fill up.

any 5+1 is beatable at any site....they r full of donks...................
