Hand 1: I know that I may be beat even on the flop, especially by the turn but I just view this as an impossible hand to get away from and I'm either going to double up or bust out. I slow play in case nobody has an A and tries to bluff the pot. I probably should've C/R'd the flop but with him going in for the minimum bet I thought I'd extract on the turn. Comments?

In both hands you played it too slow.

Hand 1. Any Ace will call even an all-in. I can understand if you tread cautiously to not scare off an Ace. But raise at least. THe board is too good to trust a check/call as the best move.

Hand 2: Same thing. With an Ace and a Jack on the flop, you have to raise the turn to see what you are and use that information to extract the maximum from every player.

Slow playing is good with a great hand. You seem to be too slow.
