    Default Call allin or fold

A hand from last night: 9 players on table. U are big stack with 152k. 19 players left, with a chip average of 60k. Blinds are 2/4k with 6 minutes remaining. Folds to middleposition (3 after him before blinds), he goes all in for 40k. Like every one else at the table he has been picking up some blinds. But u are the only nontight player here. U look down to find QQ. Push or fold. U are on the button. Previous hands shown down by the pusher: AK, JJ, AQ, AA.

Perhaps I should add that 1-20 pays 1.6k, and 1st is 40k. The prizes start jumping around 6th.

And we know you called and he showed KK or AA, but that's how poker goes.

No he called and showed AK. Which seems to be the likeliest hand in retrospect. But I guess this one a good call then...what about the other one? I've been wracking my brain to figure out if I was doomed to bust in this tourney or if I messed up. Methinks I might have played the AK badly.

Hm...to me it's not as clearcut. If I fold, I will make final table as a good stack. The table was not calling many of my raises/reraises, which means I could easily maintain at least a 130k stack till final table.
Still I am convinced that my call was good. Just not crystal clear. These players were not shoving with medium pp or AJ. They were waiting for halfway decent cards (TT/AQ or better). Their being too tight is one of the reasons I have the stack I do. Still I just don't believe this guy would shove AA or KK when he's been 3BB betting before, which makes it a good call.
    Thanks for the feedback.

I can understand your concern if you weren't the big stack - but with those stack sizes this is an insta-push.
