    Default do you push here?

Both the button and bb have been average. Not overly aggro, passive, nor weak. Not afraid of the bubble but not stupid either. Just std play throughout, loosening up as table shrinks. Button probably has 2 high cards, but could have any decent hand. (Hadn't seen him raise/steal with crap cards.) Big stack's in the bb, yet to act.

What's your move? Do you fold, hoping button and bb will duke it out and you get ITM in the next round, or do you push?

Has he min. raised before? How often? Did this raise look sneaky coming from him? Or weak?

Important questions. This can change everything.

Assuming no change from the above: yes, I push here.

Yes, he has min-raised several times before when folded to him on the button or CO, and as I had said, he always had a decent but not monster hand (KQo, QJs, ATo, etc.) But his opening requirements had dropped over the last couple of round as table shrank. My read here is he's holding fairly decent cards 3 handed, but not a monster. Or he could have switched up on the button and min-raised with AA, looking for action. Steals had been working w 2xbb, but I doubt he's blatantly stealing w big stack in bb.

well it really depends... you do have a decent amount of time if you look at the blinds to possibly wait for maybe higher cards if you dont feel safe with the 8's

You prolly have around 8-10 hands still before you really start getting low and its not worth it to move...

So it depends how you felt about that raise coming from him

    Otherwise a push was right
    I am that fish...

    currently broke as a joke...

I think I push here. I'm happy with a fold or a call, just hoping he doesn't have an overpair. IF he has been min-raising alot, then he certainly SHOULD be min-raising his high pairs!
