    Default Straight Flush Draws

Can't decide if what I did was the right move or not, take a look and have a ponder yourselves. The two short-stacks were reasonably tight players but are just starting to get pushy, MP the looser of the two but so far I hadn't seen either of them do anything particularly stupid, not for a $10 table anyway

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t100 (5 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    MP (t1325)
    Button (t2508)
    SB (t1203)
    Hero (t3149)
    UTG (t5315)

Preflop: Hero is BB with 3, 7.
1 fold, MP calls t100, 1 fold, SB completes, Hero checks.

    Flop: (t300) 5, Q, 6 (3 players)
SB bets t100, Hero calls t100, MP raises to t1225, SB calls t1003 (All-In), Hero ???
Never underestimate the power of stupid people in large groups

    1225 to see a pot of 1625.

You have at best 12 outs (assuming a pair is no good). You're about even money.

You can call if you think any flush is good.

Why? Not saying it's wrong, but I'd like to hear why.

Why do we say the flush is beat... hard to put the min bet on anything, and the push represents Top Pair protection to me... Why are we so quick to assume they're on two spades?

because of the call with the all in... i mean either there both on high card but still he hasnt hit the flush. I can easily see one of them with Qx s another with. You also have to remember the limp in pre-flop he could easily have 5/6 suited connecters people tend to try and limp with... so maybe his flush isnt beat but he still hasnt hit it... when these guys are represention made hands with an all in and a call... thats just my logic... you cant lose what you dont put in the middle

The people who said fold are right, but they are putting the cart before the horse.

If you were the big stack, it would be an easy call, if you had 7s4s it would be an easy call, but you don't have either. It is completely unnecessary to risk 1/3 of your stack here in the hopes that you can knock off both players, one is going to be eliminated, thats all you need. You would enter the bubble portion of the SnG with the 2nd largest stack, easily enough to get into the money. So I reiterate, Easy fold.

I missed the SB's Call In. That said, I too probably fold here.

Given the Call-In I probably fold too, thinking that i'm likely down to 4 outs (Any 4 would make a straight or straight flush) and then I have to dodge another spade.

That said, I just kind of enjoy stirring the pot and making people give reasons for their answers. It's good for everyone.

Without reads it is hard to know where you stand.

In the very best case you have 12 outs - 9 for the flush draw and another 3 for the str8. This is about 50%.
However with 2 AIs ahead of you there is a good chance your flush draw is no good, people push a lot with just nut flush draws, and people love to push with TPGK and flush draw, so I would fold here

I'd call. You're getting the right odds, and it's not like you're going to get busted out here if you miss. Plus, you can eliminate two players at once, which is always fun. You have twelve outs and I think your straight and flush draws good. Small stacks push with top pair all the time. Time to gamble .

I detest playing big pots if it's not raised pre flop. That being said I probably fold and find a better place.
