If i'm Camsto i'm slowing down when he calls the flop. Definitely not betting the turn when the 3rd club falls, definitely not betting the river after he calls the turn.

If i'm Tirrutio i'm playing it the same pretty much, i probably reraise the flop and get it all in on the turn.

So on a scale of 1 to Dumb, i think you played this one about a 4 or a 7, depending on who you were.

It's a tough hand. I don't think you played it terribly, but I would have definitely slowed down on the turn, more out of fear of the flush than of an overpair. Since he didn't reraise pre-flop, a QQ was an unlikely holding, but you do need to be aware of that kind of thing.

Good but not great hands out of position are hard to play. Mostly, you want to slow down on the turn if a scare card falls. I like to slow down on the turn generally out of position, and give the opponent a chance to act. Often, they'll just check, and then you know you're probably ahead. If they bet, you can call if it's not too much money and they'll often check the river since check-calls are scary. If they push, you're probably behind and then you can fold. If you're feeling lucky, you can even check-raise and often that'll scare better good but not great hands out of the pot (it wouldn't have worked in this case, though).

I'd fold that. What could he have that you can beat? He's almost certainly not pushing with AT or lower, and he wouldn't do so without an ace. You're behind here. After you called, your raise isn't bad, since you do have top pair, after all. You need to get information. You got the information, and it's time to fold.

I'd fold that pre-flop actually. I hate calling early or mid position raises with AJo. I'd rather call with suited connectors. The problem is that you're too often dominated. If you hit your ace, you're often behind. If you don't hit your ace, you're almost certainly behind. The best result for you is a jack-high flop. If your opponent checked the flop, you can probably steal with AJ, but you can steal with 72o or suited connectors, too. That's why AJ is usually bad to call raises with. AJs is a different story, but in that case you're hoping for something like overcards plus a flush draw.

Oops. My mistake. I like your call preflop, then. I'd still fold that flop, though. Being outkicked in these circumstances sucks .
