Default PP $10: AQ on the bubble

UTG raiser had seemed fairly tight this far, but I wasnt paying enough attention to be sure. I was afraid of his UTG raise and figured he probably had a better hand than mine, possibly one that dominated me. I was sure he would call a prf push, so I went for a stopngo move - was this dumb?

I'd say your stack is too small for this play. I just push preflop -- AQ is a monster 6-handed; there's no reason to think you're behind.

    I push this preflop
your hand is too strong and you dont mind a call at all.

Another vote for pushing Preflop. If you're putting more than 30 percent of your stack on a call, just push. Your hand is strong enough, so maximize your fold equity.

Agreed, except unless 5 places pay., this is not technically "the bubble".

Once UTG enters the pot for 250, the only mistake either of you can make on this hand is to fold, and I guess he's very slightly more likely to fold pre-flop for 400 than post flop.

Push preflop, your stacks to low and aq is a tight hand for low stacks...

Ok, so this is a clear push under the cirumstances.
Would you ever think about folding this when your read says the UTG raiser is really tight?

Yea definetly if he is a real tight player then yea you can fold that, you have probably 1 or two rotations to catch another hand... actually idk if ur gut feeling says fold cause hes tight then you might wanna think bout it, but chances especially with low stack you have this guy, he could be throwin for a steal ehhh Its close to call it depends how good of a read it is on him... i mean if hes only raised with ak aa kk ya know but many players specially in a lower lvl raise with aj a10 kj kq k10 for that fact so also depends on his skill lvl as a player, has he only played prime hands?
