Here Hellmuth is talking about being embarassed to be the "poker brat," and at the same time posting a bad beat story in a magazine. Like this is supposed to improve our game.

It's pretty much his usual stuff. Some initial bragging about his books and stuff, some more bragging about what a great read he had after he hit his lucky ass flop, some bragging about his great play as a huge favorite, and then a bunch of whining about how he lost.

I wish the guy had pocket KK, it would make that story a non-story. Phil would probably whine about how unlucky of a flop that was. Like at the WPT event when it was "bad luck" that he moved in with KJ and got called by KQ.

Oh and Annie Duke didn't completely OWN his ass at that tournament of champions last year? Ya she did. She tilted his ass like an irish drunk. That guy needs to be taken out back and beat into tiny girl sounds. How does his wife tolerate him? Oh ya, he's friggin rich. I wonder who she's banging on the side. Was that a low blow? Of course it was. It's probably true.

So you have a guy to your left offering outstanding implied odds and you feel the need to limp in 5 4 for a trap attempt? I don't get it. Just play a good hand and let him pay it off. I mean he did kinda get porked, but he should have never entered the pot with 5 4 in that spot. That wasn't a bad beat story. That was a bad poker story.
