I limped Aces here. I never ever limp aces... except sometimes. I'd only limped because PSOHarris was feeling spry and was raising every pot, so the trap I THOUGHT I was setting was to be launched preflop, when it came back to me and I could then drop the hammer.

Somehow, he miraculously called and I end up playing my aces many ways. I am not happy, and swear to myself I shall never limp aces again, except sometimes.

I hit my joker on the flop. I check here knowing someone will bet at the pot, and my new best friend PSOHarris does it for me, narrowing it to heads up, which is exactly where I want it. I'm definitely raising here if it's NOT heads up when it gets back to me.

Turn's a little ugly as that straight is trying to fill out, but if he hits it, I'm just gonna pay it off. I check and try to get him to fire at me again. He does... I chose to spring my trap here. Was I strong enough to let him see the river, or do I drop the hammer here since the straight and flush are forming. I think he's on AX, which SHOULD give me a call here, and since the Ace of hearts is on the board, Im not really stressing the flush draw... but it's not impossible.

Squash him here, or let him bite again at the river? I decided to drop it here since a call of 525 represented significant strength anyhow, and a small ace is probably checking the river to me anyway.

    Downswinging holla!
Think for a while like you're making an agonizing decision, then call. Being out of position sucks here because if you check the river he might check behind, so I might bet small so that he is practically commited to calling. I don't see him having the straight or flush draw. He is probably drawing dead right now.

Seems incredibly risky to limp with blinds that low, though obviously it can have some spectacularly good results.

BTW BB $75, SB $50?? What kind of weird ass blind structure is that?

I would reraise him 700 more. If he calls, he will be pretty commited to calling off his last 700 on the river. He may have 2 pair or lower trips and push over. Raising much less would give him good enough implied odds to chase a draw. He probably has an A and thinks he's good, if not, you won't be getting paid off anways, unless you are charging for a draw on the turn.

    himself fucker.
Obviously, fold preflop. 2nd would be the raise the flop. You did bad by letting everyone draw cheap. You're doing bad again by letting everyone draw cheap.

Turn card is not a scare card. Take his monies.

Aside from preflop, I don't have a problem checking that flop if you think it'll induce some betting. With that flop, the worst possible card that could hit would be the 5, which as gorilla said even that isn't a scare card. In other words, I don't mind them drawing cheap if they're drawing shit.

AP has a goofy point at level 4 of the tourney where it does this.

It was risky to limp here. Very risky. I thought for sure I could get in a reraise due to the maniac at my immediate left, and it backfired. I was not happy to play this 4-5 way when it backfired.

Limpin aces is rarely ever my thing because two situations always seem to happen if I do:
1: Over 50% of the table limps with me and no one raises which means My aces are sh!t come the flop
2: Someone mini-raises and I get the opportunity to come over the top but I'm usually confronted with some bad three-way all-in against the mini-raiser with a smaller pair and a hand like q/j that some1 is to donkafied to let go off and they either straighten out or flop a set.

But, since you did and got away with it, I would've checked the flop and called the bet. On the turn, I would've re-raised because it was straightening and because it was heart meaning that I wanted to either pot commit himself on the turn or through the hand away. Either way, you make a decent pot and the opportunity to get the rest of his chips on the river.

With the 50/75 blinds, I think you should min-raise to slow play and drive SB out.

What's funny is that I bet the maniac had KK and wanted to slow play, but was scared of the A on the flop!

Or maybe he just had crapola.
