Default Did I over play this hand

2nd hand of the SNG, I'm in the SB and there is a minraise UTG. There were 8 callers and I felt the pot odds were to great to lay down for 15 chips (blinds 5-10). So noe there is 170 chips in the pot and I have jh/9h. I figured even if I was way behind to a donk with a pair of A/A or KK, I could catch up with the right flop. So, the flop came jd/5s/9/d. I had the top two pair and figured the only hand I was losing to was a set. So I checked, the mini raised bet 25 chips and there were two callers. There was now 245 in the pot and I check-raised for another 300 chips trying to take down the pot before the turn card. I figured that the mini raiser had a diamond draw and wanted to draw for cheap since he didnt bet hard with TPTK. He flat called the check-raise for 300. The turn card was a 10 which meant there was now a straight draw if someone had a Q and a diamond draw. I decided that I should push all-in because didnt want him to draw out on me. He called with a Kd/10d which meant he had both the flush draw and the straight draw (9+4= 13) which meant he had roughly 1/4 chances of winning. Of course, he made his straight or I wouldnt be telling the story, but did I overplay the two pair?

End your post there, you'll get better advice.

I don't mind pushing all-in, I think your check on the turn was a mistake. With 8 callers, two pair is a vulnerable hand. Bet the pot and if you get raised, go all-in.

I didnt check the turn. I checked the flopa nd pushed on the turn. So are you saying, I should've bet pot on the flop and assuming that he same people called or at least two out of the 3 people that called the $25 chip bet the guy UTG made, then push on the turn (if there was no re-raise)

I think you played goot. Checking the frop is fine as long as you get your checkraise in. Have to push the turn there.

    Bad beat.

    Sorry, I meant the flop.

If someone hits you with a re-raise on the flop, I'd push. If you just get calls, push the turn.
