6 players left... 4 limped(300/600 blind) I pick up AKc in SB pos. I had about 5g+ so I raise to pot. Was it a clear push or was my raise reasonable? UTG calls(MR CALL CENTER WITH 7g stacks). Flop 4c7c7..... I check, UTG bets 600 HAHAHHA Right there I put him on smaller pp or atleast PAINT. I shoved all my remaining chips giving him about 4/1 to call. He called and turned up AJo and spiked a jack on the turn.

I think he would have still called if I shoved preflop....

ur being way too results oriented here.
Its a clear push preflop whether or not he calls with AJ.

4 limpers at 600 a piece, a pot raise is making it 3600 to go, you're commited, just push. I don't mini-raise unless I'm trapping with AA heads up. If I raise I'm raising the pot, if it's more than 1/3 of my stack to raise the pot I'm pushing. AK's not always worth the second raise, but I think you gotta put in the first raise especially with a bunch of limpers.
