Default Would u play it the same?--Last nights most important hand

    Thoughts on all streets...
Reads: I've been seen raising w 78s and calling a reraise with it. Generally I've been very aggressive, and fairly loose. P1 has been pushing the small guys around with his stack, but has been careful around me. He definitely has a good pf hand.

50k guarenteed final table on pacific. Blinds 10k/20k
    P1-around 300k
    P2-SB-around 125k
    P3-BB-around 125k
    P4-around 200k
    P5-around 170k
    Hero-around 500k
Folds to hero who looks down at QTo. Hero raises to 50k.
    P1 reraises to 80k
Hero calls (hey who folds a raised pot to a minraise?!)
Flop is Qd7d3h pot is 190k
    Hero checks
    P1 bets 80k
    Hero calls
Turn is Qd7d3h7h pot is 350k
    Check check-
    River is Qd 7d 3h 7h 6c pot is 350k
    Hero checks
    P1 bets 100k
    Hero calls.

Raise flop. TPNK on 2-diamond board... what are you, slowplaying?
Rest is OK, but you just peed away your chip lead.

You have to raise the flop. If you are scared of your weak kicker then let it go and save all of those chips.

Final table 6 people left and your are solidly in the money. You have top pair crap kicker and facing a potential full house or trips from a player you rate as good. Your title says an important hand. His bet does not imply a bluff, he is unlikely to be slow playing JJ or lower. Best case he has AK

Well what's your range of a "good pf" hand?
My general range of good is TT-AA; AK. But I'll easily add AQ and QKs when we are 6 handed. If so you are beating 3 hands (TT,JJ, and AK) and losing to 5 hands (QQ-AA, QK and AQ).

But if you have been loose, he also might just be making a play on you. So now we have to look at his betting.

He bets 80 k on the flop, which looks like a standard/semi scared continuation bet. His turn check shows he is either afraid or he has a monster (QQ most probably). The river bet is just 100 k (only 20k more than his preflop and flop bet) and less than 1/3 of the total pot... And he only has 140 k. Again I would say, in general, this is a value bet or he is trying to steal a pot after you showed weakness on the turn. You need to go on your read based on how he's bet previous pots and decide whether to call or fold here.

I would play this the exact same way. If he thinks you are full of crap he might re-raise you AI on the flop, would you call him then? you might fold the best hand. Also by checking the turn you apper weak and make him to think that he can buy the pot, even though I think he had AA or perhaps KK here, still would pay him off because of the action here, he might still have AK or such. I know this is a weak play but there are not that many hands you are worried giving a free card to.

I put him on a real hand. Ie 88+ KQ+. But I figured I could take the pot away from him if I thought he missed...
    My reasoning:
On the flop his bet seemed--like chadrian said--scared. If I had missed the flop I would have put him allin. But if I raised here the only hands he'd call me with had me beat. Also, I was worried about him having a better hand. On the turn he checks in position with 2 flush draws out. Even though I just called on the flop. That made me think he had TT or JJ or AK and had given up. On the river I check again, for the same reason that I check/called the flop. His riverbet is scary, and there is a real posibility he'd play this hand exactly this way with QQ (since he'd be wanting my flush to hit on the turn), but I really can't fold since he checked the turn and I am holding a Q. It's just too likely he has JJ TT or AK.

He had AKo. And winning this pot gave the chips I needed to totally dominate the game and end 1st.
