    I hate u guys =).

If i raise it to 150

    I have 600 behind.

If i have a claler the pot is 300.

What do I do when the flop is
    K 7 3
    A 7 3

    t200 on any flop.

K-rag-rag is a much better flop for you than A-rag-rag, although the Ace flop is somewhat easier to play.

This looks like the push of a man who doesn't want to see a flop... and you likely won't.

However, I think you make a little more by making a callable raise, and then betting postflop.

Not everything always has to be settled preflop. Postflop is fun... you should try it sometime

    Lets put it this way,
if I were any better at postflop, I wouldnt still be at the 22s =).

This, and the 99 hand are very similar. The reason you play these post flop is that the blinds are only 25/50. At 50/100 - your pushes are much better.

Note that in both of these hands you are likely to have position which is good and bad. It's good because if you see a bet on the A73 flop you got your info free. The bad is that you have to distinguish the probe bets from the value bets, and raise the the probe bets.

The difference between this hand and the 99 hand is that this time you are the aggressor, and can rep the ace. You might get called by AXs in the big blind, but he is probably somewhat afraid of being out kicked (at the $22 level, anyway).

dammmmit..... i have told you this.....raise to t150 and c bet the flop...unless its a really bad one....very few hands are going to call you that you can beat when you make 14xbb pushes........

In lv 3 you can actually still play some post flop poker....that really starts to go out the window at level 4. QUIT PLAYING LIKE THIS AT LV 3!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Except for the first 2 level where I need to make a large raise to narrow the field, I make all my raises pot-sized, whether it's KK or AQ, same size. When the pot sized raise is more than %30 of my stack, it becomes an all-in. If I have position I might go up to %35.

You didn't make it clear in your example but I'm assuming 1 limper? make it 150 or 200 to go, even 200 would only be %26 of your stack.

The only way to improve your post-flop play is to play a few flops. What do you guys think about this strategy about playing against overcards?

    1st to act:
Bet about 1/4 pot into an ace or king. If raised, fold. If called pause for about 10 seconds and check the turn, fold if they bet. If they check the turn make 2x minimum bet on the river (blocking bet).

    lasst to act:
Bet about 1/4 pot into an ace or king. If raised, fold. If called 2-3x minimum bet on the turn. Check the river.

i would do this if there were 3 or 4 limpers though

1/4 probe bet is good if opps are weak/tight. I bet more if I am checked to and last to act. Otherwise it looks super weak.

    trick!!!!!
i played smart my last set of 4
    u wouldve been proud.
even when i got sucked out on a million times
I still got two first places.

    U wouldve been proud!

    yes what trik said.

can't just push 'cos u don't wanna see a flop. Raise and cont-bet... if you lose the pot some of the time, so be it.

that said... i'm often torn between playing poker or pushing at 50/100 Stars (1500 stacks). So I also agree with gabe's point that if there were limpers i'd probably just push and make it easier on myself.

btw, the chick in your animated sig... can u ask how to move like that? I've got a feeling it's something adapted from belly-dancing... but as a dance instructor i cannot and would love to do that! I think God just hates us men and gives us stiff hips
