Except for the first 2 level where I need to make a large raise to narrow the field, I make all my raises pot-sized, whether it's KK or AQ, same size. When the pot sized raise is more than %30 of my stack, it becomes an all-in. If I have position I might go up to %35.
You didn't make it clear in your example but I'm assuming 1 limper? make it 150 or 200 to go, even 200 would only be %26 of your stack.
The only way to improve your post-flop play is to play a few flops. What do you guys think about this strategy about playing against overcards?
1st to act:
Bet about 1/4 pot into an ace or king. If raised, fold. If called pause for about 10 seconds and check the turn, fold if they bet. If they check the turn make 2x minimum bet on the river (blocking bet).
lasst to act:
Bet about 1/4 pot into an ace or king. If raised, fold. If called 2-3x minimum bet on the turn. Check the river.
