4 players left, 1 of them disconnected from the server. I got the the chip lead but the second place guy is pretty close. The only other connected player has less chips than the disconnected player, and was close to being blinded out. He actually typed to us "please let me keep my blind, I promise I wont bet u in any other hand. LMAO. This guy almost lost to a guy who wasn't even there. The other big stack was on my right and kept folding his SB to me. The BB was upto 400 now I had 4500, the other big stack had 3500. I put myself in his shoes, as long as he dosn't do anything dumb like call my AI raise and lose, he'll either come 2nd or 1st. K4o all-in baby, they all fold, I pick up a quick 600, and expand my lead, he folds his SB to me next hand they all fold the BB is DCed, next hand short stack has 400 in the BB with 290 left, DCed player still alive in SB, I had 29o RAISE!! hahaha, he's gotta be thinging "u asshole" he folds knowing he can squeek into the money. Next hand he has 200 in the SB with 90 left.. I raise with trash again "you know the drill buddy give up that 200 hahaha". I actually folded a 38o on the other big stacks BB. Next hand they all fold I keep my BB, next hand the DCed player finally goes out and we're down to 3, the short stack squeeked into 3rd with 90 chips, won his BB and doubled through to 180. BB is upto 600 now, short stack is AI in SB. another golden opportunity, I'll make a sure 420 from the BB cuz he dosn't want to finish behind the guy with 180 left. I actually picked up AT this hand but i was ready to push with alot less. I win with AT. Now I'm HU with a big chip lead and the only flop I saw was when the SB was AI for his last 180 (I would've rather split this pot than win, cuz then I could've kept leaning on the other guy until I had him crippled, ironic). I went on to win this one and make a 39GBP profit.

My favorite situation is when one player is on the morphine drip and there are 4 players left, Any player with less chips than me is going to have to risk their stack or give up their blind, my folding equity is so high that it dosn't matter what 2 cards I hold. If I have a big eneugh chip lead I might even go as far as folding my SB and letting the super short stack (AI in his BB) win that hand so I can continue my reighn of terror on the 2nd and 3rd place guys. Maybe that's why my ID on Interpoker is "Sadist".

This is excellent bug stack poker.... Congrats. Being the big stack with a baby stack on the bubble is an awesome situation to be in and cards truly don't matter. Congrats on figuring that out. The best part is that you don't even have to make large raises for this to work... 3xBB is plenty because of the THREAT of being put all in. Good times.

That's you. I play it pretty much the same way. I won't be bullied on the bubble because as better players, we can see what's happening. Most of our opponents are either

1. Not smart enough to realize what's happening

or 2. Not ballsy enough to play back at us, even if we do.

you might have an edge with the cards, but calling to race is -EV in most situations. if you want to make calls for your ego alone, thats fine i guess.
