    Default Being greedy

yes I'm a greedy ho. Opp (obviously) bets a flop as long it's one-to-a-
flush Opp has been betting everything checked to him.

So how do you approach the river?

I guess that if you know that he bets everything checked to him, you should be check raising?

Haha I'm definitely not the person to dish out advice, I have no idea what to do. I would check. I'm only posting to say thanks for saying hello at the tables tonight!

Looks like he will bet out if you check - so check raise would seem the way to go.

I think he must have some sort of hand. Check-raise him an amount he'd almost have to call if he has anything at all.

Your check-calls might (or rather, should!) set alarm bells ringing in his head, especially on a paired board, so I guess it all comes to how certain you are that Villian will bet again. If he slows down and checks behind on the river, you risk missing out on more money here. However, if, as you say, he is firing at any pot that is checked to him, then I think you can go ahead and look to CR.

Any value in making a little lead out bet, that almost encourages him to re-raise?

We know he'll give money to us if we check. We don't know he'll raise over weak bets.

I min c/r the turn. If he's observant and we've been playing as a strong player, it's the best place to do it (and if he's a donk, then any place is fine). Most bluffers/pot buyers seem to peter out at the river and check behind.

As is, unless I've seen him continue this betting pattern right through to the river, I'm betting 1/2 pot here.

What happened, did you win the hand?

    Hmmmm.... tricky, tricky.

    What could he have:
Overcards (or worse!): - you need him to bluff or think you are bluffing
PP, J or Q or both: you might make some money here, but he might get cowardly if you bet out or raise big
set/straight/boat: you get all his chips no matter what you do.

If he's at all suspecious of your check/calls, he will not bite on a raise unless he has a monster. He also will probably check behind on the river, or go all-in in the dark "repping" a monster.

If he is too stupid or agressive to notice you, then you should definitly check and let him bluff/value bet the river.

Only situation in which betting out is good here is if
    a) he has only a pair, possibly 2 pair and will call a small bet but would otherwise check behind AND he noticed your betting pattern.

check/raise.... raise amount probably more than a min-raise but not all in (unless you feel he will percieve it as a bluff)
