Default tricky MTT hand, middle stages

SB is a SOLID player who has only re-raised strong hands preflop. Whats your play here? He knows when to lay down his hand, he layed down a SET to a possible straight. Can i Scare him here? Should I just give this huge hand up? Does he have a monster? I min-raise to make it look like a value bet.

You know he plays solid hands. You gave him damned good odds on the flop min reraise to call. He could have AA here and be trying to draw to the boat.
If you really think he can fold, throw out 5000 and try to get him to fold. I think a push would look weak, whereas 5000 would look like another value bet.

I personally would have folded to the flop bet.

I probably would have folded to the reraise or the raise on the flop. But you called and tried to bluff him out of the pot and he called your reraise. I would check it down all the way because you are probably beat. Try not to force your hands.

I think you can safely fold KQs to a pre flop re raise from a solid, OOP player. hoping for JJ?

After that... yuck. I assume you were all ready to fold to any bet, then he checked and it confused you. Tight smart player might play Ax (x=big heart) this way knowing you'll bet a lot more hands that he beats than you call/raise, and he has outs if you made a low flush or two pair+.

I think you give up. If you held KsQh I might go, but you may be getting your money in totally dead here. If he had Ax with no heart, I just can't see him calling your weird flop min raise, but if he manged to do that he'll probably come the rest of the way.

Now IF you check and another heart comes and he checks again, then I might get fancy.

Looks to me like AK/AQ with the K or Q being a heart. That, or QQ/KK/JJ with one heart.

I would've folded the flop, but you seem to have committed yourself to bluff it all the way, so you probably have to suck it up and go on in here. Your only realistic chance at the pot.
