Default Still fairly early in this MTT what's your move here?

I didn't have any particular reads here, but my gut was screaming for a certain decision which was the one I made, based loosely on what type of hands he might be raising with, even though I didn't have any reads.

With this one I followed my gut and my own logic and made my play, but my question is what is your move here?

Most of the time (90+% w/o a read) I'm folding preflop. The rest of the time, I'm playing it similarly to how you did, though I might reraise the flop, since you're pretty likely to face a higher card (more dangerous) on the turn. When you didn't, I definitely like moving in. Occasionally you'll run into a higher pocket pair, but it's a decent play still.

I think you read that backwards Jeff, shy made the bet post flop, and his opponent moved in on the turn.

nh. You exploited his unwillingness to let go, I like it.

    Oh...oops. My bad.

Assuming the preflop call, I play it as above most of the time then. If I have a read on my opp as the aggro/continuation betting sort, then I may CR-AI on the flop part of the time.

    Default nice

You seemed like you had a good read. Based on his previous play you knew he would have bet differently / harder if had had a better hand.

    nice work

Fold pre-flop. Push over on turn. Yeah, you made more money this way, but I am not totally confident I am good here. Maybe he folds 99 or something.

What do you do on river (after calling turn) if an overcard KJQ hits?
