courtibee doesnt raise so much next time
raising it to 150 is more than enough
u risk less of ur stack
I probably fold to this raise.

    keep this in mind
    in a tournament
    the most important thing is
    Stack Sizes
through manipulating stack sizes and controlling stack sizes u can have a HUGE affect on the tournament wihtout ever need strong cards.

Here u are raising a huge chunk of ur stack, which puts alot of it at risk.

Caling here puts u OOP against a strong reraiser who (mind you) has put in a HUGE part of his stack into the pot. Do u really think hes going to fold? I think he has a stronger hand than u do here, and folding is in the best interest of winning the tournament.

    On the lfop
    1k pot
    600 chips
Villian would be hardpressed to let his hand go for so few chips into such a big pot.

I mean u could always flat call and push any flop, but might end up pretty ugly.

I forgot to mention that this was a 2 table tourney, doesn't make much of a difference though.

I did not think he was going to fold. And I was pretty damn sure I was beat. So what's my problem? Haha now that I think about it, I don't know.

The thing that confused me was that I raised what was an increasingly significant portion of my stack and then was reraised an even huger portion of it. There was no way I could just call (unless I was just gonna push any flop). I guess I posted this because it seemed yucky (yes, yucky) to fold after putting the chips in, but even yuckier to call.

Eh. Yeah. There's no way I was ahead. And I knew it, so I folded. Case closed?

Thanks VQ. And you are probably right about raising it to 150. I'll give it a go next time.

Oh and the $11s hate me so far.

I think the answer here is to simply call with AJ in this situation, EP and the blinds too small to be worth it.

That way, you don't put a monster hand in position to reraise half your stack. If it's just calls, someone with KK or QQ maybe raises to $150, giving you a chance to see if you can spike your A.

Or AK/ AQ raises to 150 in position and you spike your ace, then you are in big trouble.....
