If you intend to call a 3600 bet on the flop, why not bet it out to find out where you stand? Rep the AK, he might also laydown Ax. If he comes over the top, you know to let it go then. If he smooth calls you, then check/fold the turn. As it is with the check, you now have no idea if he called your raise with a picture card or with an ace. You had the lead in the hand till you checked.
