I called the re-raise, figuring I can release on an A/K flop. I would fold 99 or less here... maybe TT. I got a good but not great flop. He calls my bet which is super bad. However, he then procedes to bet so weakly... I am almost forced to call. I really almost raised the river... but just called.

I guess the likely hood of an overpair indicates that I should just fold the turn. Maybe bet less on the flop?

Right there is where I'm done with the hand, unless i spike the J.

perhaps try a check raise on the flop? The raise was fine, just thinking of other options for the hand. Fortune is right, what hand can he possibly call with that you beat? Was this well played by opp.?

Yes, I think it was very well played by villian... although perhaps incedentally. He got the maximum out of me and I was drawing to 2 outs. The lil' bet on the turn is somewhat dangerous because of the 2 spades
    BUT:
    a) he's got the :As:
    b) I bet too much to have 2 spades here.
    c) if I really have a 6/KK/AA, he can fold to a re-raise (probably won't though)

Where was the reraise? you never raised preflop, so there was just one raise.
