    Default pre-flop push with 44?

I'm not in danger from the blinds quite yet, but I am the short stack in the tourney (30/45 left). Do you like this push here? I'm picking up 20% of my stack if everyone folds. I don't think anyone has a pair, so at worst I'm a coin-flip to double up, which I'm running out of time to do.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t30 (8 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    Button (t1015)
    SB (t2295)
    BB (t3685)
    UTG (t1565)
    UTG+1 (t1255)
    MP1 (t1315)
    MP2 (t1830)
    Hero (t540)

Preflop: Hero is CO with 4, 4.
    UTG calls t30, 1 fold, MP1 calls t30, 1 fold, Hero raises to t540...

    Results in white below:
1 fold, SB calls t525, 1 fold, UTG folds, MP1 raises to t1050, SB calls t510.

    Flop: (t2700) 5h, Th, 2s (3 players)
    SB checks, MP1 bets t265 (All-In), SB calls t265.

    Turn: (t3230) 6d (3 players, 1 all-in)

    River: (t3230) 9s (3 players, 1 all-in)

    Final Pot: t3230

SB has Ah Kd (high card Ace)
MP1 has 8s Ks (high card King)
Hero has 4s 4c (one pair, fours).
    Outcome: SB wins t1550. MP1 wins t1680.

    EDIT: fixed opponents hand histories

stack is a little short for limping to set but I don't think that's a bad play.

You might get more folds raising to say 175 than the flat push, which pretty much screams DONT CALL PLZ. Also something like an AJ may call rather than raise, then give up the pot if they miss, whereas the push lets them see all 5.

I don't hate folding eihter! Play this however you want

PS you know you can see mucked hands in PS HH?

Ya, the hand convertor sucks with the poker stars HH. It adds the pots wrong, it said that I split the pot with the SB but I fixed those numbers. It says hands were mucked (even if they were the winning hand)

Did you have a read on the two callers that they always raise their pocket pairs? If I were sitting on 1500+ chips and was OOP at 15/30, I'd limp 22-TT and then call your push with almost all of that range.

I think your stack is fine for limping this.

    [quate]I don't think anyone has a pair,[/quate]
You have 3 people acting after you, how can you have any idea whether or not they have a pair

    [quate]so at worst I'm a coin-flip to double up[/quate]
At best you are a coinflip to double up.
The chance of anyone calling you with x2, x3, 22 or 33 is very low, if you will get called it will be higher pair (who owns you), 2 overcards (coinflip) or 2 callers with overcards (dog again).

You have 18BB, I think you can wait for a better spot.

I may be limping it however and try to double up if I hit
