First hand of a SNG. Guy min raises UTG and I called in 3rd position with pocket 10s/10h. The BB completes the bet for another 30 (15/30 at Full Tilt) and we start three handed. Flop came 8h/2s/7h. The mini raiser bets 100 chips. I decided to raise and define my hand or to find out if I'm beat. I raise to 400 and he calls. The turn comes the Qh. He checks. The Queen is a scare card for me because if he mini raised with A/Q or K/Q, im now behind and can easily being set up for a check-raise. Should I have lead here as if the Q didnt scare me?) I didnt and I checked the turn. The last card was the 3 of hearts. He quickly checked and I figured if he had a decent sized heart, (AKQ), he would lead. I decided to put him to the test for his 75% of his stack and after hesitation, he folded. Should I lead the turn after a check when a scare card hits and im in position. Does that give away the strength of my hand?
