    Smells funny here.

He just committed about 50% of his stack on the re-raise, so chances are he's going the distance with this hand. With that being said, I don't think you have any fold equity if you re-raise him or push AI.

    So either call or fold.

If you flop the A or K good, if not I might give it up.

Problem I see is you are up against what very well could be AA or KK with the way he's playing it or you are sleightly behind any PP. Only hands that you are in really good shape is some junk like AQ or AJ and without a read I would call or fold.

    how do you call here?

It's either push or fold. It really depends on the opponent to me. I like a push against most.

In this situation against an aware opp, the best you can hope for is another AK or PP<KK. Could easily be AA/KK. Little chance he's laying down if you push. Just don't want to flip(at best) for over half my chips with blinds at this level and become the new short stack. I don't think folding is terrible either. I think I'd want to know the read here(should have something by these blind levels), you could probably argue for any of the 3 options depending on read.

What is the value in the push?

Mostly I call and push good flops. I don't see any fold equity pre or post flop.

Call... you can't be afraid of AA/KK vs. a smaller stack like that.

Pushing gives you equity vs. a small/weak pp that thinks you are stealing...
