Default do you make the continuation bet

PS: I'm in SB with about $1.7k. Blinds are 15/30. There is a raise to 90 chips from seat 3 and a call from seat 5. The action folds around to me. I know I have a higher chance of getting my hand cracked with three players in the hand so I re-raise to 190. Seat 3 folds and seat 5 calls. Flop comes x/x/A. Do you make the continuation bet out of position? The Ace is obviously a scare card and there is really only a few hands that that can stand a raise and re-raise so you can almost be sure they have 1 (unless player is a donk and just calls with anything)?

i wish i knew what your hand was. JJ maybe? If so I'd bet 200. If you get called, you're done with the hand.

    what do u have?

I will assume QQ or KK. Yes I make the continuation bet. I would put seat 5 on a mid pair or weak ace. if you get reraise then fold.
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.

The only reason not to C-bet here is if you are VERY sure he does not have the A and want to let him bluff chips to you.

a mid PP 88-JJ more likely here. Your post made me think you're waaaay overvaluing an A. Some people might cold call raises with big As, but they usually suck. You're in a raise/fold spot (depending on read) with an AJ+ there. Anything else is a fold.

Having said that 100 is not a big enough raise to make anyone fold much of anything they raised/called with to start.

First off, since you mention "cracking", Im going with the assumption that you have KK. That said, the original raise was to 90, with a call, which makes the pot 225. You need to bet more than 190, I would raise to about 300 here. With an Axx board, you need to c-bet here, to see where you stand. It is possible you have the best hand. If you get a caller, especially someone who called your reraise preflop, you're pretty sure you're beat. Against a reraise its an easy fold, and I would go into check/fold mode if my c-bet was called unless I hit a K.

    Just my 2 cents.

In this instance, I believe the continuation bet is in order. When I first began to play, my biggest problem was aggression. I had none. I didn't know when to bluff, how to bluff nor h0w to continue the bet.
I believe what has helped of late with my play is the type of image you project. If your opponent has Ax small or medium pair they possibly fold to an aggressive bet. I play at the lower limit ($5 SNG) and present a solid style of poker. I mix up aggression and tight play. Bet out! Aggression is the name of the game. In this situation, its still early. The blinds are low and there is more than enough time to get your chip stack back in order.
