    Default JJ early on

Thoughts? It's early on and this player was new to the table, so no reads. In general, do you think a player is check-calling to the river with Tx here?

fold you've got to beat here most of the time.

    why didnt you raise preflop?

OOP plus I'm pretty confident with my postflop play with Jacks. I think playing them for overs + set in this spot is much more profitable. If not for the river, I'm confident I had the best hand here, and stood to take down a pretty decent sized pot. Yet if the flop had contained much paint, I didn't invest much in a pot I'm drawing to 2 outs in.

true, but your post flop play would be easier with less people in the hand.

Regardless of the preflop argument (I'm comfortable and confident in how I handle that), do you think top pair is check-calling to the river like this and then leading out? It seems questionable to me. Getting 3:1, I only have to be ahead 25% of the time for this to be a profitable call.

you are probably ahead 25% of the time atleast here so i guess you can call. i think he has a 10 and a weak kicker so he feels confident now with the full house, am i right?
