Default 2 hands that shaped my MTT - comments?

Pacific $50K guaranteed. 135 left from a field of ~800. ITM is final 80

Blinds 300/600. I've been playing relatively tight, the table's fairly tight although there are two players to my right who limp into 50% of pots and play aggressivly post-flop. They weren't involved in either of my 2 hands.

1st hand:My stack 15k , get JJ in MP, everyone folds to me and I raise to 1800
    SB (20K) reraises to 5K
    I call
    Flop Axx
SB puts me AI with a bet of 10K
    I fold

Next hand: My stack (10K), get AQs in MP and raise to 1800.
CO calls as does Button (the reraiser in previous hand).
    Flop A9x
    I check
    CO checks
    Button raises me AI
    My move?

I call - CO folds, Button has AK & I'm out

    Anyone play these differently?

i think i would have raised the flop on the second hand.
what are do you want to get here by checking? just have everybody check and try to see a cheap showdown?

My plan was to check-raise AI. I got my AI as you can see from the result in white. Would you have folded post-flop? I felt I had to run with TPGK here, given my stack size . Besides SB has already pushed me off a hand I raised with previously, and he might be trying a repeat performance.

yeah i think i call his all in here. its tough to lay it down when if you fold you are pretty much short stacked but if you win you are up to around 22k. makes more sense now that you say you were gonna check raise all in.
