Default Do you call re-raises all-in

Ive been faced with this lately and so I wanted to asked the people of FTR.
Two scenerio's: I made a raise in the SB with A/K. BB makes a re-raise all-in. (Everyone has folded to the SB and blinds are 50/100. stacks are 1500(SB) and 1000(BB) Do you call or fold?

Im on the Button with $4k in chips. I make a 4xBB raise with A/Q on the button. Blinds are again 50/100. BB with about $1200 comes over the top for the rest of his chips. Do you call or fold?

Obviously, in neither one of these situations, I didnt have the best odds but the chance of two big hands in the SB/BB or BB/button are slim. Do you just fold here and wait for a better or spot or put your chips in when the best you can hope for is domination or a coin flip?

You probably need to consider a few more things before you can really say whether or not you should call. Like I'd want to know about some reads ... are the reraisers tight? Loose? Have they been raising a lot in previous hands? Or have they raised preflop like once the entire tourney?

Also ... how many players are remaining? At what stage of the tourney are these situations in?

Another big thing to consider: what is your image at this table? Have you been very tight preflop, or have you been playing a lot of hands? Have you been raising a lot of hands preflop?

There's probably more things to consider too, but these are the big things that jump out at me. Given the information, there's no way I could say, "yeah I call" or "no, I don't call."

    Silly Muxy.

I put Court on a flopped set. Hidden hand and all that y'know? You gotta pay to draw out

    Ok, back to poker -

    locks:
Court has pretty much covered the important angles. I think the tournament situation in these two cases is a critical consideration when it comes to the decision making.

From the stack sizes and blind sizes, the first sounds like a late SnG situation (short handed etc). If so, the blinds are huge chunk of stacks and the opp could be putting you on a steal, especially if you've been stealing a lot of blinds. AK is a monster in shorthanded play and you've got to push it as an edge. In a shorthanded, late SnG situation I cannot see laying AK down unless there has been absolutely crazy action ahead of me.

Situation no. 2 is more read dependent.
