Yeah probably should have folded the turn. I don't think raising the flop would have worked in this case though, he probably would have smooth called and then checked the turn to fool me into thinking I'm ahead.
Here's what happened:

Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx
Button ($48.75)
SB ($21.40)
BB ($30.95)
UTG ($66.10)
Hero ($38.85)
CO ($19.25)
Preflop: Hero is MP with K , Q . SB posts a blind of $0.10.
UTG raises to $1, Hero calls $1, 3 folds, BB calls $0.75.
Flop: ($3.10) 8 , Q , 3 (3 players)
BB checks, UTG bets $3, Hero calls $3, BB folds.
Turn: ($9.10) A (2 players)

River: ($23.10) K (2 players)
UTG bets $13, Hero calls $13.
Final Pot: $49.10
Results in white below:
UTG has Ah Ac (three of a kind, aces).
Hero has Ks Qs (two pair, kings and queens).
Outcome: UTG wins $49.10.

When the K hit the river, I was actually thinking about raising but I'm so glad I didn't. I realized that there were too many likely hands that beat me- AA, KK, QQ, AK, AQ, so I decided to just call. I guess if I had folded the turn none of this would have happened though
