    I did check and I would have folded but it check to river, makeing sure a bet should have been made by me.

    It's possible to bluff them out with a bet, but I say don't waste your money. You're likely to get called down by anyone with a flush, even if it's like a 5 of spades.

    standard. Maybe a bet would have won you the pot, but... a lot of people (me included) would check anything less than the Ks with the plan of calling pretty much any bet. If you're looking at say the Js here, you can probably bet and win the current pot, or you can check and hope someone with no chance to win the show down fires out.

    4 spades on the board, 5 opps, and you with no spades? can't really bet at that, now can you... well played. I'll assume you lost to something like pocket 7s with the 7 of spades...

    I would, however, suggest a re-raise to around 400 preflop....
