    Default Playing AA OOP

Is the turn push ok? Any comments on the rest of it? This guy was a donk. Actually the whole table seemed to be.

I push this preflop. That large of a raise with the blinds 15/30 and him having an almost equal stack to yours, + the fact that you said hes a donk.... I think hes calling your push no matter what. If he folds, cool, you increased your stack by almost 20% early in the tourney and didnt get out-drawn on. Thats a win.

I dont see why he'd bet so small on the flop and call your check raise... If he was worried about a straight or flush draw I think he bets larger to push you out... Since you said hes a donk, he might have something like A9 on the open ended straight draw, which would explain why he bets small and then calls. He might also have been pricing his flush draw.

All that being said... I probably push in this situation. So much of your stack is in the pot now, and unless he has J9 (lol), he doesnt have the straight, and the flush didnt hit. You're only losing to a set, and still have one out on the river.

Ditto. Although I probably would have raised rather than pushed, I agree with the reasoning.

I'd probably just re-raise to about 500 and pop it all-in on any flop.

IF you want to slow play AA pre flop this is a great spot. However fancy plays are generally wasted on donks.

This is in NO WAY a good spot to continue to slow play post flop. Lead out, 3/4PS ish

Since you are check raising, CR enough that it's a mistake for him to call with a draw.

As played, yes push the turn.

These two make it a preflop push for me every time.

I think I preflop min-reraise to 500 just to build the pot, and push any flop. Really don't want opp to see all 5 cards, or even 4, and the preflop reraise get enough into the pot that I'm fine with taking it down there.

I don't like a push preflop cuz you already have it heads-up. Might as well try to get as much in preflop as possible - no need to chase out the opp.

I think minraise PF(which he likely either calls or pushes) and push the flop is the way to go.

I would reraise preflop, there is a better chance he will pay preflop then postflop if he misses the flop

    I re-raise or push preflop.

    Then def push the flop.
