i think its ok to play a bit passively here.

I bet here. You are the initial agressor, you have to rep AK here. It's highly unlikely they have AQ (since you have 2), and AJ might fold (except for short stack... who checks? mabye).

I think you can get away with a 180 (1/2 pt) bet here.

On the other hand, it's a $5.50 and they probably will never fold AX.

I don't mind a bet, one checked to you already, only one more left to may or may not have an ace (unless the first guy decides to check/call a weak Ax or something).

Make a soft c-bet and see how it goes.

    2. knowing you should fold, but donkishly calling or raising anyway

    ding ding!!

I would bet the pot here, for a couple of reasons. One, they may have QJ, or something (refer to above quote), in which case, they fold. Two, if they do have an ace, I don't think betting soft at the pot garners you all that much info. A lot of players at the lower levels will see this as weakness and bet regardless of their hand. Also, with two diamonds, they might be on a flush draw.

easiest way is to bet, planning on that being your last action in the hand.

Check is also OK, but you will have tough choices on turn and river however the action goes.

In a 5.5 or a 55, no one calls a raise with Ax and then folds on this flop, unless you push or something. Even then you won't fold shortie with any ace.

There is no way I would be pot in this situation. At this point in the tourney you should have killed all or most of the donks at the table and can expect that everyone is playing a decent hand. A pot sized bet may get out Squid, but the short stack (Pica...) is a different story. Shortstack is sitting there with 860 and may decide to gamble and try to double up with AJ, A10 or even Ax suited.

The pot here is just under 400 so a bet of 200 - 225 should, IMO, signal enough strength to get anyone out of the pot who doesn't have a real hand.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.
