I would bet the pot here, for a couple of reasons. One, they may have QJ, or something (refer to above quote), in which case, they fold. Two, if they do have an ace, I don't think betting soft at the pot garners you all that much info. A lot of players at the lower levels will see this as weakness and bet regardless of their hand. Also, with two diamonds, they might be on a flush draw.
There is no way I would be pot in this situation. At this point in the tourney you should have killed all or most of the donks at the table and can expect that everyone is playing a decent hand. A pot sized bet may get out Squid, but the short stack (Pica...) is a different story. Shortstack is sitting there with 860 and may decide to gamble and try to double up with AJ, A10 or even Ax suited.
The pot here is just under 400 so a bet of 200 - 225 should, IMO, signal enough strength to get anyone out of the pot who doesn't have a real hand.
