Default Final Table. Does Anyone Call This?

Final Table of a 5 table tournament. I caught some hell for my fold here, but I just don't see where anyone can justify a call preflop w/ that action. Is there ANYONE out there who calls here, or is this just "Yawn. standard."?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t2000 (4 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    saw flop|saw showdown

    SB (t31615)
    Hero (t18520)
    UTG (t5695)
    Button (t11670)

Preflop: Hero is BB with A, J.
UTG raises to t5595, Button calls t5595, SB raises to t9190, 1 fold, Button calls t3595.

    Flop: (t24175) 3, K, 7 (3 players)
    SB bets t22325 (All-In), Button calls t2380 (All-In).

    Perfect fold.

It's only 4-way and AJ is great if YOU open raise but I don't think I EVER EVER find a call with the action in this hand.

I also might pick off UTG who could easily have small pair in which case you race to eliminate him risking less that 1/3 your stack. However, once SB big-stack gets involved you have to head for the hills.

since you are MrFish, you should call. MrPokerPlayer folds here all day.

Even if for some weird reason you were sure raiser and caller had PPs lower than TT, SB should have a massive hand here. If he didn't, it's a bad play by him, not you.

Thanks. That's exactly what I thought and I couldn't see a call in this situation, ever. but I caught hell from a couple of people saying I should have got all my chips in, because if I lost the hand, I was out in second, and if I folded, I am likely to fold into second, in which case I am up against a huge stack with only 8BB when the blinds double in a minute or two.

I 'm confident heads up though, so I folded into second, and then took out the big stack in 4 hands for a first place finish.

Your friends' advice makes my head hurt. You could very easily go out in 4th or 3rd if UTG or the Button wins the hand and you lose to the small blind.

I would fold even if the small blind weren't involved. The button flat-called for half his stack, which makes me very suspicious that he has a monster. With the small blind involved, I think I'd fold anything except AA-QQ here.

Good fold, really no reason to think otherwise
