Not sure what you're afraid of here. I guess a set of aces or AK since opp smooth-called your flop bet, but I'm losing most of my stack if he has that - nh - gg... He's probably got TT or something like that. I'd say 1/2 pot the turn and maybe check the river when the J comes out (since there's always the chance someone called your pf raise w AJ.) But, yeah, I'd say the turn was way too passive and the river - well, you might throw out 100 or so but not a requirement since you really don't know where you stand...

44/77 are both possible, but would bet river. Turn check is OK, value bet river say 350 or so.

Problem with turn check is that if he bets hard on the river you have to decide if he is bluffing or has 2 pair+. That J is a bad card, because now you are behind AJ. Still, two pair+ probably bets the river.

I think you are ahead and should try to get him to call another bet.
