    But with only the button in front of him, CO can buy position and set himself up for a good c-bet. I think it's worth it, depending on the table.

    Maybe I'm conservative but I think this is a call. With only $50 blinds and 7-handed it seems like you're pissing away chips raising preflop with middle pairs.
    Three people have already folded so it is, in effect, a 4 handed game. Also, you are just one off of the button so you are in good position and have a good enough hand to raise here. If you get a call and a scare card comes up it will be much easier to lay this down than if you cold call and have no idea what anyone has.

    I think there is nothing wrong with calling when you have the correct implied odds to play this for set value.
