    Default Thoughts on my play

I had seen 12 hands at this table and UTG+1 raised everytime he played and was very agressive post flop. He had shown down KdTd, 7c7s (won both). He stuck to 3x BB unless more than one person limped before him.

My first thought was a big pair, but then I considered the slightly (1 BB) larger pre-flop raise and think it's a smaller pair that doesn't want action. Then this flop is totally a bluffing/semi-bluff situation.

    BTW, 45 man $1 tourney.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t50 (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    MP1 (t455)
    Hero (t1570)
    MP3 (t1080)
    CO (t1710)
    Button (t475)
    SB (t1205)
    BB (t1085)
    UTG (t3195)
    UTG+1 (t3570)

    Preflop: Hero is MP2 with K, Q.
    UTG calls t50, UTG+1 raises to t300, 1 fold, Hero calls t300, 5 folds, UTG calls t250.

    Flop: (t975) Q, 6, 6 (3 players)
    UTG checks, UTG+1 bets t600, Hero ... ?

raises to t1270, UTG folds, UTG+1 calls t670.

    Turn: (t3515) 8h (2 players)

    River: (t3515) 4s (2 players)

    Final Pot: t3515

    UTG+1 has Kh Kd.
Hero has Ks Qd (two pair, queens and sixes).
    Outcome: UTG+1 wins t3515.

    EDIT: thanks drmcboy

do you mean UTG +1 had been raising?

With a UTG limp and a UTG +1 raise KQ is a clear fold.

Once you've called you have to go with that flop, but don't call.

Re raise if the UTG limp doesn't scare you and you think UTG +1 will lay down. But I really don't see a reason to make that play here.
