I don't really like a push here since you have a decent amount of chips. Since you're in position I might just call.

Man, these are the hardest hands to play. I guess my answer here would be based on how the table and myself had been playing lately. If the players behind me were loose and/or aggressive or if I have been playing a lot of hands lately I would probably just call here.

If the players behind me were weak/tight and I had a tight table image I may put in a 3XBB bet here and proceed with caution.

Trying to put a % on this I think I would call about 80% of the time here.

Does he limp often? If so, I push. You are free to play for set value as well since you are getting the correct implied odds to limp here.

I don't think you are in push mode just yet. I limp this for set value.

I think that if you just play this for set value, you're throwing most of the value of your hand into the trash can. There's a good chance the limper has a small pair too and you want to charge him to see the flop. I would raise 3 BB with the intention of pushing most flops. If I'm reraised before the flop, it depends on who is reraising but I'd probably fold.

hmmm, I am not so sure. Limper could also have some sort of broadway combination or AXs. This is PokerRoom after all. If you raise, even with position, you are pretty much looking to hit your set or get an all rag flop. Any overs have to have you concerned.

You are also setting yourself up if limper is planning some sort of trap with a big pair that he will re-raise you pre-flop and you are going to fold. That seems a waste of chips to me.

I limp and use position to determine the best course of action on the flop.

I'm not so sure about this. This is the point in a tourney when a lot of people will start raising with pp's as they think they are at 50/50 if someone calls. I am not saying this is the right move I am just noting that you can't assume he has a lower pocket pair than 9's.

I don't think 300 is enough, you'd need to raise to at least 400 to make the big stack fold if he's trying to limp in with a weak hand. Then you pretty much need to push if he doesn't bet out on the flop.

I'd push pre-flop and try to take the blinds down. If the limper puts you on a steal, he may call with a weaker hand Ax or something and you can double up.
