    Default Heads Up Blinds

    Hey

I just wondered, in a heads up situation, who posts what blinds?

I assumed it was Dealer BB, opponent SB, but apparently im wrong?

It is done either way. Different sites do it differently.

It makes most sense to me to have the dealer be the BB and last to act.

In HU I always play w/ the dealer as SB so they act first preflop but then last in all the other rounds.

Having the button = being last to bet on every round of betting except for preflop.

Button on SB, other guy on BB. Button acts first preflop, last every other round.

This is the way it "should" be but most online sites have the button on the BB so he is last to act on every betting round.

I'm assuming the "correct" way is dealer SB, other BB because that's how it's done in EVERY tournament I've seen on TV, but yeah, I've been to a couple sites that do it the other way around =].

I guess for just casual home games it doesn't matter, though. I think only me and my g/f at my home game understand how the blinds work since I have to tell people who has to post them every hand and how much they have to put in =[

Thanks for the responses guys, i guess as long as everyone agree's beforehand it doesn't matter too much!
