    Default all-in UTG 8-handed ... ($11, 2 tables)

What do people go all in with UTG with more than 10bb? I folded because I had a decent stack and that's a LOT of chips to call when you don't have a read on someone, but WTF? Does anyone call this?

    I think I would call!

The most common move I see this with is small pp's from people who can't play them post-flop.

omg this is 99 or TT.
MAYBE AQ or AK, but i dont think so.

Err hard to comment since I saw the hand play out, but when I saw that I was thinking...ehhh it's probably 88-JJ range just trying to get their money in and folding everyone out with a semi good but not great PP.

But then for half your stack I dunno if I wanna find out unless I have QQ+.

If I felt really strongly it was a weaker PP, I'd muster up a call.
    pulling a courtiebee pŏŏl-ĭng ā kôrt-ē-bē (verb phrase):
    1. overvaluing mid pocket pairs
    2. knowing you should fold, but donkishly calling or raising anyway

I would think it's AKo or TT.
Playing big pots at small stakes.

    I'd call it looks weird.

I agree with Staresy's comment. I see these types of overbets WAY more often with mid to low pocket pair's than with solid value type of hands.

The other type of donk is one that majorly overbets the pot on made hands and monster hole cards. However, they also love to show you their great hands so if villian were one of those types you should know by now and can safely lay this down against his K's or Q's.

Without that read though I would most likely call here.
Poker is easy, it's winning at poker that's hard.
