Default Nl 25 6-max: line check - putting pressure on short stacks

    Villain was 59/7/1.88.
I know calling KJo to a raise prf OOP is normally a crime, but I had nice odds. The flopline was partly a semibluff, but I didnt mind a call because I had so many outs and I wanted to build a pot in case I hit. On the turn I decided to put the shortstack allin - I figured I had some fold equity (his flop call might look like he was drawing to a straight or flush) and I had loads of outs in case he called (unless he of course already had the nutflush).

    Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $ BB (6 max, 6 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    MP ($25.80)
    CO ($25.50)
    Button ($28.15)
    Hero ($35.80)
    BB ($69.83)
    UTG ($9.60)

Preflop: Hero is SB with K, J. Hero posts a blind of $0.10.
UTG raises to $0.5, 1 fold, CO calls $0.50, 1 fold, Hero (poster) calls $0.40, 1 fold.

    Flop: ($1.75) T, Q, J (3 players)
Hero bets $1.4, UTG calls $1.40, CO folds.

    Turn: ($4.55) 4 (2 players)

    River: ($4.55) 6 (2 players)

    Final Pot: $4.55

EDIT: seems like somethings wrong with the hand converter, but I lead out on the turn and put him allin

I'd check-raise the flop. You have a pretty strong hand, and it's probably the best statistically, so your raise is partially for value, while you also may get him to fold the current best hand. If he calls on the flop, put him all-in on the turn.

Short stack aside... are you going to get paid by top pair / two pair / set / straight / baby flush if the 4th heart falls?

Can you c/r all in on this flop with ~20 outs? and hope that TP-no-Ahearts calls? or do villains have to have a made hand or Ah to call?

With a pair and an open ended straight flush draw I'd be looking to check raise here to get maximum fold equity, and if were called we're most likely the favorite to win the hand.
