I'm reading Kill Phil at the moment. I love my clever-clever smallball poker too much to try it yet, though.

Also there's a lot of IF... THEN... ELSE "poker programming" to remember. Will finish the book then try it out, i think.

I've read it. It's not bad. I think that if you do your usual small ball in the beginning and then use the push requirements when you are short to middle stack it will help. Although, when I first read it I tried it in a 180 and finished second with just using the push method throughout the tourney. But there were a lot of bad players and I tripled up on the first hand with AK when QQ, JJ, and KK called my AI and I hit an A. That might have helped.

    Drinking your milkshake.
It's quite cool - ive just been playing with it. It's telling me im pushing Ax and especially Kx offsuit a little too early. I haven't read the book though, I want to get HoH first.

HOH and Kill Phil are similar in the zone theory. They both tell you when to be tight or open up. However, Kill Phil tells you what hands to play and when. KP is not all about going in everytime, towards the end it blends the all in stuff with small ball a little bit. I think that it's good for SNGs and the 180 on Stars. It will get you ITM most of the time and if you catch cards and there are some loose players that will call your all ins you can make the FT at the 180. I would suggest HOH 1 and 2 for a great understanding of all aspects of NLHE and then check out KP.
