Default All in while sitting out?

Not sure if it's just me that finds this strange...bb was sitting out at start of hand and i was pretty sure it would fold round after i raised, but then bb suddenly becomes alive again and instapushes over my steal attempt when it gets to him.

Is this just something they have at stars that makes you go all in when you're sitting out (i've not been playing here that long but havent noticed it happen before) or what?

Some guys sit out and watch the cards go by, and sit in when they get a hand. Seen it a few times, but not often. Saves on mouse clicks, I guess.

I think the idea is that they can get a free raise out of someone if they happen to catch a good hand.

It's just that i wasn't aware you could be sitting out at the start of a hand and then still take part in the hand.

Well it worked for him, i probably wouldnt have raised if he hadnt been sitting out, as he was the most aggressive player of the ones i would have had to steal through, all the others were pretty tight though.

    Oh well, lesson learned.

That's dastardly. I raise sitting out blinds all the time.
