Default I know this is a waste of a post but GOD DAMN! (lc)

I pretty much love playing the $22's on pokerstars. You get SO much time and can really play smallball!

My hourly rate must be awful as i'm one tabling them, you only get $90 for winning, and they take aeons to finish...

but the standard of poker is POOR

I just played a tourney where i got down to an M of less than 3 FOUR TIMES, but every time their weak/tight rubbish let me straight back in.

Heads up, overcame a 10:1 chip deficit, then pushed with KJ to get beaten by AK... straight back to a 10:1 deficit... then went on to win.

He was moaning about being card dead. Heads up. With 10 times more chips than me. FFS.

Deep stacks and long blinds give me ADD - thats why I like prtypoker sngs.

I've just moved to stars and am at the $10s atm. I think they should improve my ROI from before but the key factor seems to be PATIENCE. Am not sure what to do atm though as i am torn between either spending all my SnG profits on MTTs or saving up till i can move up to the $20s
The poker gods love me really, they are just testing my faith !

I'm very tempted to play the $20 180-man MTTs, but:
    a) I can easily imagine going 20 without winning anything significant. ROI must be a bit scary as your bankroll drops and drops, and you're hanging on for that win
    b) 2-4 hours is a pretty long time to play poker if you don't do much.

I think my problem with MTTs is i've only ever hit the fringes of the money and basically played 3 hours of poker for $8 or something stupid like that.

The $22's are no harder than the $11's, you just need a bigger bankroll.

Try playing the 2 table $20s on stars. They are super fishy, most of the time you lose half the field by the 75/150 level.

    They were suited!
I used to play the 3-table $33s on Party and saw immediate and unparalleled success.

However, I wouldn't suggest playing 2-table turbos if you're trying to combat ADD or boredom or whatever. The blinds are so high at the end it gets ridiculously hard unless you have a huge stack. I only play multitable SNGs in the normal variety on Stars, the Party ones are pretty sweet too.

Don't try to tackle MTTs or the 180s if you don't feel like you're being rewarded on a consistent basis. Sometimes it takes several weeks before you make a big score and bring home the bacon.

I like those 33/30s on PP as well. They are like kiddie pool MTTs that last 2 hours.

The payout is super wierd - keep it in mind. 5th place pays 90 6th 0. 1-2 pay within $50 of each other ($270 $235 $180 or something). I enjoyed these much more when I play them just to make ITM.
