I saw this guy check raise his TPTK, not only did I see it, he did it to me. THerefore Im under the impression taht he understands the concept and can lay to it. I guess not, but thats one hell of a turn, rofl. Why not go for it again? This my friends is why I love the pot bet on ub. Sadly I messed up the hand on the river.. sure I Took it down, but I dont played it. I wasnt folding, I couldnt check now and lay down .. cuz he could definatley bet with less then the flush. So I pushed, but that was dumb. He could bet with less the then flush if checked to him, but he cant call my all in with less then it on the river, however he could call 300, if I bet 300 and get reraised, I call still, Im committed and I have to take into acct that it could be a semi bluff. So I think the +ev play on the river was bet really small and give him ridiculous odds tocall. Either way, its a pretty funny hand, and illistrates why the "bet pot" button is not really that big of a deal. it doesnt make fish into phil ivey...

Given the betting sequence, that turn check-raise is the craziest thing I've seen in a while. You beat nothing here and all you have is the stupid end of a straight draw.... You got very lucky here - that river card saved you - I wouldn't make a habit of this....

Hah.. I played this home game a couple weeks back... it was super terrible structure and one guy showed down "3 pair" and thought he beat my brothers boat haha... anyways I saw one guy counstantly counting on his fingers, and I was looking way too far into it, I was thinking he was counting outs... But he always counted to 4 or 5, and when he counted to 5 he would bet hard, and then I finally saw him do it and show down the straight ROFL

There is no greater feeling in poker than winning a SnG by stacking your heads-up opponent with a triple-check-raise.

    HERO [6 6]

    FLOP [4 5 6]
    - Hero checks
    - Villain bets pot
    - Hero checkraises 3x bet
    - Villain calls

    TURN [4 5 6 4]
    - Hero checks
    - Villain bets 1/2 pot
    - Hero min-raises

    RIVER [4 5 6 4 8]
    - Hero checks
    - Villain bets 1/3 pot
    - Hero checkraises all-in (pot-size)
    - Villain calls [5 7]
