Default Is this a good move from the BB in mid-lat MTT?

Party $5 R&A, 180 people left from 850 starters. ITM is top 90.
    Blinds 300/600

I'm in BB with trash T4s I think.
Table has been pretty tight - first raise generally takes it without much of a fight.

EP (13000 chips) limps in, rest fold and SB (~7k) completes. Pot has 1800 chips. I with ~10,500 chips decide to push here.
Idea is that with no raises, EP and SB probably don't like their hands enough to risk their entire tournament on it and will fold.

Is this a reasonable move, at his stage of the tournie with everyone playing fairly tight, including me? I needed to accumulate some chips and this seemed like a good opportunity to steal.

How many of you would pull this move in this situation? On a tight table, is this move likely to be +EV in the long term, obviously my image is also reasonably tight.
    result in white below:
EP calls with KK and I'm out.

This isnt a profitable move. Your not completely desperate with 10,500 at this point. Your risking your whole stack to gain 1200 chips, only a 10% increase in your stack. Whenever your called, you are most likely dominated and are knocked out of the tournament. Just doing a standard blind steal in LP would get you 900 chips, and you'll only be risking 1800 instead of 10,500. Pick a better spot

How often is someone likely to call? I think on a tight table, and with a tight image, only QQ+ and AK (maybe AQ and JJ) will make this call. I can't do the math - what is the chance that of the 9 other hands, at least one person has one of the above premium hands?

Also pot is 1800 since I've also put in the BB, so it's closer to 20% than 10%.

How has EP been playing? Has he been limping a lot in EP? If he has been raising when he plays and then all of a sudden limps in EP, you need to be wary. It's not a bad idea, however with some uncertainty, I would find a better spot or just wait for the button and steal.

I don't think you have to push to win the pot here, so you're not winning any more often than what a 3k bet would win. But when you run into a genuine hand, you're definitely losing more.

This is perfect. The only issue you have to deal with are the times when you have to play a flop here. I might make the raise a little more than 3k just because raising to 3k gives about 2:1 odds and EP might call with some weaker PP holdings. Maybe to 4500 or so.

I also think an overbet push here looks a little weak, and good players will put you on either AK, some sort of vulnerable PP, or a steal. I also think you'll get the push called more often than a healthy size raise that's more in line with the size of the pot.

Absolutely no reason to push. The steal is fine - but raise like you would with QQ. You've got two limpers in front so a standard raise there would be 3xBB plus 2 more BB for the limps. A 3k raise will work better as a steal there than a push will.
