Tough situation pre-flop. If I call I am proceeding extremely cautiously. I might even just fold PF without having invested much. The situation smells worse than 'Rilla's vagina. You're only hitting the flop 1/3 the time and even if an ace or jack comes I still wouldn't be comfortable. The size of the raise just seems like he's screaming for action. The fact that he's doing it when he'll be out of position just makes me think even more that he has a big PP.

The flop raise seems rather small, but a flop really can't be much better than that if you have a big PP. There isn't a whole lot of risk in underbetting a hand like AA/KK here, plus he'd giving you the opportunity to come over the top.

The flop completely missed you so calling doesn't make any sense unless you plan to try and take the pot away later. With the way the hand has played out thus far though I don't think that's a good option. I don't like raising either for the same reason. I fold.
TheXianti: (Triptanes) why are you not a thinking person?

Tough hand, but I think that I fold pre flop and fold on the flop for similar reasons as above.

its either a preflop push/reraise or fold.
How much have u been stealing. Opp makes a standard resteal play for me.
Calling is horrible here imo. Opp can make this with any two.
If youve been stealing a lot i might push...

No stealing, but recently moved to the table, so they don't know that. I really really don't like the push preflop here without a read. I think my best options were fold or call.

I don't mind the PF call because you have nut draws and are getting odds. JJX flop would be nice. He might have a big hand here, and raise small to draw you in to build the pot, or he might just be testing your mettle, since you make a steal raise from a steal position.

Call 2 possibilities A/B B probably has a decent hand rather than any 2. PP, AX, KQ. With no read, you can't put odds on A vs. B. If you read A, you can fold. B you can re-raise. No read, call.

Bad flop for you. Villian meekly bets, which is still consistant with A/B. However, you can only beat a stone-cold bluff here, and PP 22-AA is definietly in his range. Your only moves here are fold or r/raise figuring he cannot call with only a pair. The only thing that makes me want to raise this is that this flop is so innocuous and so unlikley to have hit you - shouldn't he check with an overpair? I think he has 66 or worse or AK, and there's a reasonable chance you can fold him here. There's a reasonable chance of a "fuck it" call too... so I probably not williing to risk my life.

Villain not only covers you, but can loose and and still have an M of 3 or so. Fold flop.

I think you can call here... but you 3:1 is probably the minimum (you have odds to call vs. AK etc.). You just *barely* have the chips to call off 2.3K, then fold flop and go into push/fold mode.

Aside - same flop but 2 spades. You now have a nut draw, so you should raise flop, right?? But asssuming villian is not a moron, he must expect you to raise a draw... I think you could *call* the flop in this case, and look to take it away on the turn.
