Well #1 Dont put resulsts we can get a better read on the hand without them... Give you a more honest decision.

#2 The 700 chip raise with A2 is well in the wrong place, last to act without action maybe... In your position that hand is a fold.

#3 If your gonna do it do it... Right off the bat on flop u checked, shows weakness throw a raise see if he hit, if he calls or reraises ur out of hand.

#4 Turn you shouldnt be calling a raise when you have lowest pair. -- EEEP I Just saw diamond draw, not the worst call... By the bet he was either slow playing his hand from the flop or just hit the 5 on the turn and is hopeing you didnt have anything and trying to take it down. Or in this case he has you dominated and is casting the bait....

#5 The river, you shouldnt be in at this point none the less move all in with 2 pair. There is a flush draw out there, a straight draw, many pairs that rival your two pair, and even trips...

#6 In conclusion folding a hand like this preflop reduces your chances of making a bad play like this on the river or trying to chase cards for a hand that is not worth it. In the end folding a hand like this maximizes your chances of not throwing money away to draws or trying to catch on the river. Play only prime hands, Lowest i go at this level is prolly A10 o/s unless i wanna just sauce it up with suited connecters, OCCASIONALLY but if i miss the flop i drop the hand...

    I hope this helped
    I am that fish...

    currently broke as a joke...

Think about what you did here. You made a choice to raise a shitty hand like suited A2. This is a fine move to make. I would do it myself. What you have to remember however, is that your goal in raising a suited A2 is to bully a small pot away. You either want to steal the blinds or rip it down quick on the flop. Never lose site of why you got involved in a pot. With that said, your flop check was a big mistake, because you basically had ballz preflop, and then turned into a big puss after it. You have to take a stab at it. This was your plan all along. Why else would you be raising a suited A2? You want to hit an ace? Pwahaha. No, the reason you raise this hand in this spot is not to hit an ace. It's to exploit relative weakness at the table, with an ace backup plan. Represent the flop to see where you're at. Go with plan A first, because plan B (hitting an ace), isn't as safe as you think. It's a last resort with this hand.

Unfortunately you hit two pair against trips. It happens.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

I really dont see anything wrong with this hand. You are in the CO with the short stacks in the blinds. I would be raising PF with worse hands then A2s to try and steal the blinds.

The button called which is bad news. But on the flop you should have thrown out a C-bet to see where u are at. Chances are with pocket fives he would have folded on the flop. On the turn he threw out a min bet, which usually means hes really weak, or really strong. You caught a flush draw on the turn, plus you had bottom pair, so calling here is a good idea. Sucks that you hit your ace on the river. I really dont know what I would have done...I probably would have checked raised him and lost my stack as well, LOL.
Maybe for next time just check the river, and call if he throws out a value bet...if he goes all-in the cry and fold.

You've got a nice stack here... I'm not sure I invest a quarter of it on a blind steal here, but I've done it. Beyond that, it's pretty well played. You might get away on the turn, but you've got a lot of draws facing a small bet.
