    instapush preflop

    push the flop.
  3. #3
This is NOT an instapush preflop vs a trappy opponent. Like especially if you pushed over him last time he completed with like K6o. Against typical player who completes SB with crap and crap only, push.

It is, however, an instapush on the flop.

    definite flop push.

    I would not instpush preflop

I would push the flop, however I assume he is on a flush draw withat least one overcard, so he has about 12 outs if he calls.

However being the short stack I would not mind the coinflip to double up

    A2+, K2+, Q2+, J2+, T2+, 92+, 86+, 76, 54, 22+.

    Dont complete my blinds.

OK maybe it isnt THAT loose going down to the 92+. But its alot of hands.

    And yes I kno
be careful of trappers and if u caught me doing this u would limp AA and trap me for all my chips and so on and so forth.

trapping? if hes trapping her, c'est la vie. (thats french for TOO FUCKING BAD) ... you are 4 handed on the bubble, this guy is not getting dealt AA every other orbit. hes getting the same crappy cards as you. On bubbles like this with huge blinds youve gotta turn into a fucking monster. "fuck your weak limp bitch, gimme those fuckin chips" thats the message you gotta send. And esp if you are questioning getting your chips all in on this flop. Like if you have reservations about putting your chips in with TP with this short of a stack, what flop where you looking for that made you not push preflop?
You-- yes, you-- you're a cunt.

This thread has me thinking I need to examine my late stages Blind vs. Blind play. What's weird is, I would actually push a hand of this caliber from the button where my first in vigorish makes up for my hand strength, but I'll slow down in my BB when someone limps on me.

I think I've found a potential leak. Time to get out PT and do some plumbing.

yah, thats def a leak buddy. You gotta fend those blind limprs off as if they where somalians at a UN humanitarian air drop site.

Does this work twice? If I limp something mediocre from SB, and BB pushes over. I will limp a good hand next time. Especially if I out stack you 2:1.

I would like to think I am better than the riff-raff you play against, so that doesn't make this a bad play... I just like be cognizant of what it means the next time I get a limp. I often feel like (with larger stacks) the opposite approach is good. "Go ahead there lil' buddy... complete the small blind with garbage... see a flop... " Sometimes I like to see flops, especially in the BB with like 67s (very little HU potential preflop)

I like it when the bb pushes over me and makes me fold out my completed small blind. Yeah I'll fold and he'll get my 1/2 blind for a round or two, until i pick up something I'm willing to push with, and then I'll limp and hope he wants to get froggy again. Or I'll raise/push with crap and show it to him after.... It's like "you want a war - then it's war you get." By the time I'm done with him, he won't have a clue what I've got - regardless of whether I limp, raise, or push....

    owned.

as for people trapping... its 4 handed.. get real guys, I dont feel like doing the math but the chances of him getting dealt AA KK QQ JJ TT or 99 (maybe even down to 77 is in his range?) on the sb 4 handed is not that high. I mean how many orbits do you see 4 handed? Probably 4 tops, so he has 4 chances to get one of those hands. And if hes trying to trap with unpaired cards, Im perfectly happy with that, because I have folding equity over most hands he completes with, and then Im a 40/60 on average. With stacks that short, Im happy to take those chances. Being afraid of the sb completeing to trap is like being afraid of pushing from the button.. "what if he has AA in the bb!?" it happens, but not enough to make the push -ev.

yes but also be cognizant of the fact that he has a donk load of chips and sometimes big stacks like to get cute.

The good lasting affects of this are also that u get a free pass with blinds for the next orbit or two and u can nurse ur stack.
