BB in this hand is pretty loose and fairly aggressive. Considering I picked up another draw is there any reason not to bet this? Considering his hand(A9o) and the fact that I missed the river I feel he would have to lay down if I bet again if I bet the turn.

i would bet the turn for the reason you mentioned, but also because checking behind on the turn on that board makes it pretty clear that you're on a flush draw, and if you hit on the river you'd be less likely to get paid off.
