Default First hand of $5.50 - Good lay down?

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t20 (9 handed) FTR converter on zerodivide.cx

    Turn: (t1980) 4 (2 players)
    SB bets t760 (All-In), UTG calls t760 (All-In).

    River: (t3500) K (2 players, 2 all-in)

    Final Pot: t3500

This was the first hand of the SNG, so there werent any reads. Im not sure if I played preflop correctly, should I have pushed, or was my reraise enough? And on the flop with no reads I dont think there is any way I can call a re-raise after the SB already called.

Ive had some huge swings recently and am staying at the $5.50s for awhile to gain back my confidence, maybe Im giving the players here too much credit for their raises.

    What would you do here?

Well played postflop and good eventual laydown, in my opinion.

Reraise more preflop (I reckon to something around 250-300 is standardish).

Yeah, that was a good laydown, you asked him a question with your reraise and he gave you an answer. I think your raise preflop was questionable, probably should have bumped it up to about 350 or so to try and get it heads up. The small raise also invites opponents to see a flop with SC or a small pp and destack you if they hit the flop hard.

I also think a push preflop is fine.

push QQ KK AA AKs preflop
Success is how high you bounce after hitting bottom.
