    Default $50 PS, Standard fold of bottom set?

    How should I have played the turn? I think I really butchered it.

    At some point, you gotta say enough slowplaying and reraise, and the turn with a few potential drawing hands completing is it. 500-600 chips here should tell you where you're at.

    My biggest piece of advice here is GET A READ on these crazy people.

    I don't think you can lay this down unless your read is that this guy only limps medium pps for sets. Set=monster. Bottom set = Still a monster. Your call on the turn was a trap; you just trapped someone. He could have just pulled top pair or be holding 88,99. What do you put him on? Possible hands:
    A7s;
    A8s;
    A5s;
    Pockets AA-88;
    77, 66, 44
    55 drawing.

    Yes you did butcher the turn; don't be afraid to only pull in a few hundred chips with your sets by betting them out in drawable boards.

    Secondly, if he has top set, why doesn't he make a more reasonable raise? I personally think 3/4 of the time you're way ahead here and you call.

    I bet out on the flop and got 2 callers on a 2 flush board, and the flush card hit the turn. I'm not worried about a higher set, I'm worried about a made a flush. I called the turn bet to hopefully get a cheap showdown vs a flush or fill up on the river. Raising the turn commits me to the pot. The first bet doesn't worry me too much but the 3rd guy check-raised all in vs a sizeable bet and call suggesting he has a made flush. I don't really understand your reasoning here.

    Villian would need to be a real donk to do that with any hand that is not ahead of you. nld.

    Standard. You got outdrawn, and weren't given odds to fill up. Shit happens. Villain could be full of crap, but do you care?
    It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
    Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

    Folding is fine.

    wat about leading the turn for 210 chips?
    Same amount of chips used but this way u might get the made flush to flat call and give u a river.

    Reraising the turn bet to any sizeable amount just prices urself in for filling up ur boat. Its usually a bad idea to price urself in.
